About Bricco Pogliani

The mansion “Bricco pogliani” was built on the top of a hill between the 17^th and 18^th century for the family of  Earl Pogliani. The estate also used to house the families of the farmers who worked in the surrounding vineyards and fields. The central section of the house has been renovated with care, reflecting the original features and now offers the opportunity for a wonderful holiday.

Peace and silence reign throughout our property located only 10 km from Asti. The surrounding  woodlands are ideal for long, relaxing walks. Near the mansion there are small villages with restaurants that offer traditional food of the finest quality. This wonderful estate is located in the Monferrato hilly area which has –together with the Langhe, Roero and Canavese regions- created the history of top quality wines and of many kinds of typical foodstuffs.

A great many “trattorie”, tavernas and wine bars favour the serving of top quality wines which match excellent typical dishes inspired by a highly-traditional cuisine. The mansion is located in an ideal starting point for many sightseeing tours, for visits to places rich in history and art where many cultural events take place; moreover, during the hot summer days, there are many pleasant excursions or walks to the spectacular Alps and also, at only about 1- hour drive, you can reach the wonderful blue Ligurian sea.
